Bass legend Mike Watt and his Secondmen are back with another split 7” release, this time with Italian punk band Chronics. The two bands cover each other’s songs for this intercontinental collaboration. The 7” comes on blood red color vinyl and is limited to 1,500 copies worldwide.

Recorded in 1994 but not released in the US until 1997, Everlasting is more metallic than Refused's earlier releases, and showcases the band in their prime. This reissue is the first pressing in over a decade. Remastered and pressed on high quality European vinyl, Everlasting has never sounded so good! Würm was a sludge metal band started in 1973 by bass player Chuck Dukowski, who would later join Black Flag. Without Würm, the genres of punk rock and hardcore would never have been the same. The band’s practice space, the Würmhole – a hangout for musicians in Hermosa Beach during the mid-late 70’s – is where Keith Morris and Greg Ginn met Dukowski and ultimately formed the original Black Flag line-up. The band’s only album, Feast, was released in 1985 after the band’s demise. With the help of Chuck Dukowski, the long-out-of-print LP is being “exhumed” and reissued, along with a second LP featuring unreleased tracks, demos, and more. The package comes complete with retrospective liner notes from Dukowski himself, plus never-before-seen photos from the early days. Previously an exclusive for Black Friday 2019, the double LP was released on limited edition blue color vinyl.

Daniel Johnston's major label debut Fun was originally released in 1994 on Atlantic Records while he was housed in a mental institution. Featuring some of Daniel's finest songwriting and boasting the most "accessible" sound of his eccentric and deep catalog, producer Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers) eloquently preserves the singer/songwriter's earnest appeal and wraps it in sympathetic musical support. The aspiring cartoonist's playful, symbol-heavy sketches have graced many of his album covers, including Fun.

The “Infinite Summer” EP shows a more playful 80’s spin on Winter’s already nostalgic sound. This bilingual release, with songs in both English and Portuguese, is uplifting and fresh. With fun dream pop songs such as “Everything” and “Bonsai” as well as introspective tracks like “Always Teenager” and “Disappear,” there’s a little something for everyone. The indie pop tunes were recorded at the former Echo Park Lolipop Records studio produced by the 80’s pop master, Wyatt Blair. The release was pressed on mint color vinyl.

Guitar legend and Television co-founder Richard Lloyd has had a profound influence on rock & roll, with people like Jeff Tweedy citing Lloyd as his “musical hero”. The Edge of Forever is a chamber opera in five scenes inspired by the ending of the Mayan Long Count Calendar. It is a time-responsive opera, written for one moment in time and performed once on December 21, 2012, the final day of the Mayan Calendar.

The Edge of Forever explores the nature of consciousness and its relationship to time through a prophecy of divine love. It is the story of an ancient astronomer and a distant beloved, a cosmic union that will begin a new, undocumented era of time. Pesacov's score manifests his journey from dark emotional states of yearning to the warm glow of infinite love. The sound world balances imaginary ancient and future musics, from conch shell to electronic oscillations: Deep earth sounds ripple, murmur and surge into shimmering ritualistic music.

To remain true to the concept and experience of the work, this recording is the only documentation of the production. It is comprised of both live and post-performance studio recordings, produced by the composer with the utmost sensitivity to creating the best possible representation of the live experience.

The Edge of Forever was site specific to the historic Philosophical Research Society, a Mayan Revival architecture style building in Los Angeles. The audience entered the opera in Act III, at that present moment in time on December 21, 2012 at 8pm—an event that has been recorded in stone since the 9th century by the Mayans as the end of their calendar. The opera was staged as an immersive experience that begins with a procession of chorus members leading the audience into the theater with their voices. Once inside, the audience was immediately transported to the cenote where the action is already taking place. credits

Estrela Mágica is a starcrossed collaboration between Samira Winter (Winter) and Glenn Brigman (Triptides). Sighting influences from Brazil’s colorful Tropicalia movement as well as the phased out sunshine psychedelia of the American 1960’s, Winter and Triptides started blending together their favorite musical colors into a brand new sonic palette. Two years and a dozen home recording sessions later, they had crafted enough material to form Estrela Mágica.

The Loneliest Punk is the debut solo album by Fatlip (of the seminal LA hip-hop group The Pharcyde). The album was originally released on Delicious Vinyl records 2005. The album was produced by acclaimed hip hop producer J-Swift (who was responsible for The Pharcyde’s debut album, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde) and producer Squeak E. Clean, among others. It features guest MCs Chali 2na (of Jurassic 5) and Shock G (aka Humpty Hump). Avant-garde punk legend and former Minutemen bassist Mike Watt is back with a second album from his latest project, Il Sogno Del Marinaio (translated as “The Sailor’s Dream”), a collaboration with Italian musicians Stefano Pilia and Andrea Belfi. This 10-song debut album from one of Brooklyn's finest rock 'n' roll bands lives up to the expectations set by their previous EP. Pluralone (pronounced ""plural one"") is the solo project of multi- instrumentalist and songwriter Josh Klinghoffer, whose debut album ‘To Be One With You’ was released in November 2019. This single, ""Nowhere I Am"" b/w “Directrix"", is the third in a series of b-side releases from those album sessions. Carducci Bros is the collaborative release from brothers Mark and Joe Carducci, Mike Watt, and Jerry Trebotic. The project was spurred into action when Watt heard a decades-old record from Mark’s high school rock band Midknight. The songs are accented with spoken word lyrics from Joe, with some penned by SST Records’ house producer/engineer Spot, who passed during the record’s creation. Featuring a deft rhythm section and Mark Carducci’s reverb drenched guitar, the project showcases the unique creative vision that has made the SST scene such a vital and enduring force for decades.

Aztlan Unearthed is an indigenous focused acoustic group that is an extension of the group Aztlan / Anahuak Underground, featuring members Yaotl Mazahua, Joe Galarza and Caxo. Seeking to preserve their native culture, the music highlights the instruments inherited from their ancestors, in an effort to channel their sounds, energies, and frequencies. The project was produced and mixed by Carlos Niño, and is available on physical and digital formats beginning September 20th. KO Computer is the 22nd album from the French experimental rock band Hifiklub, recorded and mixed by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio in Chicago. With more than 200 collaborations with musicians from rock, jazz and traditional music (electronic or contemporary), the band has created its entire discography in collaboration with guests, whether they are prestigious and renowned, or completely unknown to the general public. It was produced entirely on analog tapes and features Donna Diane (Djunah), Brianna Tong (Cordoba, Je’raf, Bussy Kween Power Trip), and Eric Novak (Dissonant Dessert, Cordoba).
