While its makers are firmly rooted in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s DIY independent music scene, Samuel S.C.’s debut LP High Places is very much a product of the present. Featuring eight songs of varying tempo and intensity, High Places is bound by assured, contemplative lyrics and propulsive grooves, all delivered in equal parts gritty, graceful precision. Several tracks are reimagined 90’s Samuel originals, the remaining were concocted fresh by the newly configured group between 2021 and 2022. High Places burns and sways with a contemporary-yet-timeless energy that will satisfy both contemporary emo-pop listeners and older fans of vintage indie/punk/hardcore. The record is available on clear and black swirl vinyl.

94-95 anthologizes the seven songs from the now-classic Samuel EP and 7"s released by Art Monk Construction and Simba Records in the mid-nineties. This brief-but-essential collection of post-hardcore/emo/indie rock archival material sounds as timely and fresh as it did during the pivotal time the songs were recorded. 94-95 fits in nicely alongside releases by Texas Is the Reason, The Promise Ring, Christie Front Drive and others from that influential era, now being discovered by a new generation of emo and punk fans. Remixed from the original analog masters by Benjamin Green and remastered by Levi Seitz, 94-95 will be available on all digital streaming services on November 3rd, and on vinyl on February 17th 2023. This archival release is available on red and black swirl color vinyl.
