Pluralone (pronounced ""plural one"") is the solo project of multi- instrumentalist and songwriter Josh Klinghoffer, whose debut album ‘To Be One With You’ was released in November 2019. This single, ""Nowhere I Am"" b/w “Directrix"", is the third in a series of b-side releases from those album sessions. Klinghoffer is joined by former bandmate Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and drummer Jack Irons on ""Nowhere I Am”, but takes on all other duties himself across both songs.
Los Angeles-based outfit Oozelles (pronounced: oo-ZELZ), who made their debut last year with a seven inch on Third Man Records, are back with their first full length album. The group features members and ex-members of Warpaint, Starlite Desperation, Dante Vs Zombies, Sex Stains, Detroit Cobras, and many others. They describe their unique, eclectic, weirdo punk sound as "a stickier, sub tropical Birthday Party, Contortions or CAN ghost writing for The Gun Club or The Flesh Eaters." The self-titled album, produced by frontman Dante White Aliano, will be available on LP, CD, and digital formats this May, via ORG Music.

Formed in Vallejo, California in the 1950's, The Viscaynes were a high school doo-wop group who are said to be the first recorded singing group of Sylvester Stewart (aka Sly Stone), and the launching point of his extensive career. The group gained some early notoriety with a performance on Dick Stewart's Dance Party, after which they were introduced to producer George Motola. Charting on KYA radio's top 60 chart in 1961, "Yellow Moon" became a hit song for The Viscaynes, though they split up around the time of the song's popularity. "The Viscaynes & Friends" is the first official full-length release from the group, coming to light only after a master tape reel was discovered more than half a century since the group disbanded. The release features seven tracks from Sly and The Viscaynes, along with one cut from the The Individuals and two from The Precisions, all of which were produced by Motola.

William Hooker has been recognized as one of the most innovative musicians and drummers of his generation, leading a variety of ensembles within the worlds of free jazz, experimental, and new music. Hooker's prior collaborators range from avant garde jazz musicians to indie rock legends like Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth. On his latest work, “Symphonie of Flowers”, Hooker weaves three sections into a whole, or a “symphonie” of sorts. As he says, “the piece begins and ends with the drum…my instrument. Its rhythm and variations of timbre are the stabilizing element.”

Way Out Yonder is the second live release from Terry Riley & Gyan Riley, the duo comprised of iconic American composer and minimalist pioneer Terry Riley and his guitarist/composer son Gyan Riley. The album is comprised of spontaneous improvisations and compositions by both Terry and Gyan, captured during three performances in Canada, Japan and the US, and features the elder Riley on piano, voice, melodica and electronics. The album artwork was created by Barbara Falconer, who also painted the cover of Riley’s landmark 1978 release, Sri Camel.

Anywhere II is the second full length release from musical entity Anywhere, following their 2012 self-titled debut. The project's sound began with two friends Christian Eric Beaulieu and Cedric Bixler Zavala (The Mars Volta) digging into open tuning and hybrid ragas with punk energy.
It then evolved into an expansive, bizarrely curated cavalcade of A-list psychedelic exhibitionists from all parts California, and a few world famous musicians playing non-famous instruments, all arranged and overseen by a mostly unknown, humble guitar playing surfer dude.
The stellar line-up of II finds Beaulieu and Zavala accompanied by Krist Novoselic, Mike Watt, Dale Crover, Jonathan Hischke, and many others. Nowhere else in the world can you find a recording with members of Comets On Fire, Nirvana, Earthless, Melvins, Flying Luttenbachers, Sleepy Sun, Triclops!, Devendra Banhart, Lieutenant, Golden, Black Fork, Victims Family, The Mars Volta, fIREHOSE, and a winner of America's Next Top Model. And no one ever will again. Pressed at Pallas Group in Germany.

Arkansas-reared, avant-roots/RnR raconteur Tav Falco is set to make the holidays merry with his first collection of Christmas standards, A Tav Falco Christmas. A fixture on the international music scene since 1981, Falco has been described by The New York Times as “A singer, guitarist and researcher of musical arcana who hasn’t let his increasingly technical expertise and idiomatic mastery compromise the clarity of his vision.” At the start of a scorching hot July in Memphis this year, Falco and his distinguished group of American/Euro vagabonds ensconced themselves at Sam Phillips Recording Service studios in Memphis. The lineup includes bassist Mike Watt, guitarist Mario Monterosso, and drummer Toby Dammit.
Track List: 1 “Santa Claus Is Back In Town” 2 “White Christmas” 3 “Jingle Bell Rock” 4 “Blue Christmas” 5 “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer” 6 “Christmas Blues” 7 “Holly Jolly Christmas” 8 “Soulful Christmas”

Equal parts primal, early rock’n’roll, deviant hill country blues & avant-garde art - TAV FALCO’s PANTHER BURNS are ramshackle, raw, unholy & utterly amazing. His historico-musico revue, The Unapproachable Panther Burns, originated in 1979 at the nadir of Memphis’ postmodern, post-Beale, post-Sun, post-Stax era, when the Mississippi River town had seemingly disappeared from the cultural map and shriveled into an obsolescent landmark.
Features bass legend Mike Watt and drummer Toby Dammit. The tracks were recorded during their 2015 USA Whistle Blower Tour.
