Nashville Sessions: Live at Bridgestone Arena Studios is the latest release from the inimitable Tav Falco’s Panther Burns (composed of ringleader Tav Falco, Mario Monterosso, Giuseppe Sangirardi, and Walter Brunetti). Recorded in the studio for Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country station, the 14 song performance features the band in peak form during their 2022 U.S. tour, firing on all cylinders. The set makes for a rollicking ride, including originals as well as many covers scattered throughout, all reimagined with the classic Panther Burns spin. Their signature blend of blues, tango, and rock & roll feels swaggering and dynamic, showcasing the full force of their live performance. Available now digitally, the release is out on vinyl June 23rd. Purchase of the digital download will include a download link for the Panther Burns Tour Diary video, with the video download also available via QR code on the LP.

You’ll find that here, in the words of poet Charles Plymell, the vision of bassist Mike Watt and the orchestrations of singer/composer Petra Haden. Plymell’s words chronicle the horrific Chernobyl disaster of 1986. After finding the heavy subject matter very moving, Watt and Haden were inspired to put the words to music in order to share them with the world. Introducing the self-titled debut from cosmic rock 'n rollers Color Green! This seasoned duo is comprised of Noah Kohll (Surf Curse, Current Joys, Young Guv, and more) and Corey Madden ( Richard Rose, Grave Flowers Bongo Band). Color Green formed in Ridgewood, Queens in 2018. Their sound culls from the eternal solitude of working musicians, the feeling of infinite transition, and the need to create a space that transmits the strange sounds of American music. Pulling from the Allman Brothers, Acetone, the Grateful Dead, and other acts from the dusty storage boxes of their attics, Color Green are searchers for a continuation of classic songwriting through the use of collaboration and close examination of the relics of yesterday’s past, while maintaining the spirit of their present selves. This co-release with Aquarium Drunkard will be unleashed upon the world on 7/22/2022, available on LP, CD, and digitally.
