Random Color Variant Vinyl LP While there haven’t been many silver linings from the hellish year that has been 2020, we can definitively point to one: Dream Sitch, a collaboration between frequent co-conspirators Michael Nau (Cotton Jones, Page France) and Seth Kauffman (Floating Action). The pair wrote, recorded, and mixed the self-titled debut for their new project remotely during quarantine; ten songs in just ten days. The release showcases the strength of both songwriters and multi-instrumentalists in a unique way, using their tools and talents to craft a beautiful album, so cohesive that it’s hard to imagine them working from afar. The vinyl comes as a co-release from labels PIAPTK (People In A Place To Know) and Org Music.

"Do you feel well? How does it feel to hear that, to ask yourself that? Well, it’s felt weird to me for a long time. If I hear about your feelings, or am asked about mine, I barely know what you’re talking about. I don’t feel well".
This is a wild time. This album was made during and amongst some very new experiences. I hope it captures some of how it felt durning this period. I’ll feel better when this is behind us.

Mike Watt is at it again with more international co-conspirators, this time from the Baltics. This one-of-a kind release brings together four bands from four countries, all covering each others songs. The bands hail from Zagreb, Skopje, Belgrade, and of course Watt’s own San Pedro, CA. They all share a common ethos and a deep connection to the punk rock and post-punk tradition of their respective countries. The limited edition 7? vinyl release features four never-before heard recordings, and was originally released exclusively for Record Store Day 2017.
here’s three tunes I wrote for the minutemen thirty five years ago that never got released (hell, one never even got played live and the other two only a tiny bit), I recorded them very recently w/guys I regularly play w/but never together in this configuration which was bob lee’s idea and hence the name of the proj.
The three song EP was originally released on 7? vinyl, exclusively for Black Friday Record Store Day. Half of the pressing come on light blue color vinyl, with the other have on standard black vinyl.
Released on the heels of her critically acclaimed 2018 album, With the Sun, Sunny War’s new album finds her a little bit older, a little bit more mature, but looking back on the rocky roads of her past with a surprising amount of nostalgia. Shell of a Girl was written in a burst of creativity in Los Angeles, and marks a new transition period, with Sunny moving from the Venice Beach boardwalk, where she first made her name, to the streets of downtown Los Angeles.
Recording again at Hen House Studios on Venice Beach with producer Harlan Steinberger and her musical collaborators Micah Nelson (Particle Kid), Aroyn Davis, Milo Gonzalez, Tato Melgar, Lesterfari Simbarashe, and Edith Crash rounding out the cast, Sunny moves freely between musical genres, anchored by her virtuosic, self-taught fingerstyle guitar work. Playing on a temperamental Guild acoustic guitar, that she’s named Big Baby for its tendency to squall and feedback, Sunny’s guitar work is as dazzling as ever, notes cascading out of the guitar in Art Tatumish flourishes.
