Geckøs is the collective spirit of acclaimed songwriter M. Ward, Giant Sand visionary Howe Gelb, and Irish multi-instrumentalist McKowski. Born out of an impromptu recording session that was sparked by an encounter at the wedding of a mutual friend, the project blends the rich flavors of the Southwest with indie folk, Spanish influences, and a touch of Irish mysticism. While initial recordings took place in Tucson, it became a true transatlantic project when the members returned to their hometowns and continued trading ideas. The trio eventually regrouped in studios across Ireland, London, and Bristol, where renowned English producer John Parish mixed multiple tracks. Geckøs’ self-titled debut is steeped in story, spontaneity, and surreal charm, channeling the spirit of three singular voices discovering a new, shared musical language.
The album is released in partnership between Org Music and coconspirators PIAPTK Recordings.

One of the seminal works from the genre to become known as pop punk, the Descendents’ Milo Goes to College arrived in the year 1982 as most of the members of the band were just finishing high school. They began by writing catchy, hummable melodies about girls, parents, and food, among other things. Despite their unabashedly juvenile lyrical approach, they played with a blistering intensity rivaling any of the bands in the burgeoning hardcore crowd that they fell in with. This winning formula has carried the group for decades, as their influence has inspired countless followers (some becoming far more famous) in their wake. Now, 43 years later, Descendents are reclaiming and reissuing the album that started it all.
This “Punk Note” edition comes with alternate packaging artwork from designer John Yates (Stealworks). The artwork is a nod to Reid Miles and Francis Wolff, and their amazing work at the Blue Note label. The case-wrapped jacket includes new liner notes by BrooklynVegan senior editor Andrew Sacher.

[Funkadelic Album T-Shirts Available Here]
Released in 1970, Funkadelic’s self-titled debut was a radical collision of psychedelic rock, gospel, blues, and soul. The record arrived as a chaotic, genre-defying statement that redefined the possibilities of music. Where Motown aimed for polish and crossover appeal, Funkadelic dove headfirst into distortion, improvisation, and spiritual ambiguity, offering a sound as gritty and unpredictable as the era itself. Backed by a ferocious young band — including Eddie Hazel, Billy Bass Nelson, Tawl Ross, Tiki Fulwood, and Mickey Atkins — the album rejected convention in favor of raw groove and existential noise.
As part of Org Music’s Westbound Records reissue series, this edition restores the album’s full cosmic impact across multiple formats. The all analog double LP, mastered at 45RPM directly from tape by Dave Gardner at DSG Mastering, offers the highest fidelity to date. Gardner and restoration specialist Catherine Vericolli archived and restored the original master tapes at 54 Sound Studios in Ferndale, Michigan, with assistance from in-house engineer Nick King. Read more about that process here. A single LP edition, cut from high-resolution tape transfers, is also available, alongside CD, cassette, and digital formats.
The release will be distributed worldwide.

Rare & Unissued Masters: Volume One (1943-1945)
ORGM-2101
This long awaited release presents over a dozen previously unissued masters of surprisingly high quality from the premier artist on the American Music label, Bunk Johnson. Digital technology made it possible to remove the reasons - often not musical - that they were not issued at the time, seventy years ago. The venues for the recording sessions varied between the legendary 1944 sound of the San Jacinto Hall to the homes of Bertha Gonsoulin in San Francisco and George Lewis in New Orleans. The album received its first ever vinyl pressing, spread across two LPs, for Record Store Day 2018, and is now widely available. The recordings were remastered for vinyl at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Pallas in Germany on color vinyl.
